MVRP scenario 1

This scenario illustrates the configuration of a simple MVRP deployment.

On the 6400 Switch Series, interface identification differs.

Procedure
  1. On switch A, enable MVRP globally, define VLANs on interface1/1/1and1/1/2, and enable MVRP on each interface.

  2. 在开关B,使全球MVRP,定义vlan 10and 20, assign a trunk native VLAN to interface1/1/3, and enable MVRP on this interface.

  3. On switch C, enable MVRP globally, define VLAN 20, assign a trunk native VLAN to interface1/1/3, and enable MVRP on this interface.

  4. Verify VLAN configuration by running the commandshow vlan. It should show that VLAN 10 and 20 are learned by switch A, and VLAN 10 should be learned by switch C. For example:
