Configuring a layer 2 interface

Procedure

  1. Change to the interface configuration context for the interface with the commandinterface.
  2. Set the interface MTU (maximum transmission unit) with the commandmtu.
  3. Review interface configuration settings with the command显示界面.

Example

On the 6300 switch series:

switch(config)#interface 1/1/1switch(config-if)#mtu 1900
On the 6400 switch series:
switch(config)#interface 1/3/1switch(config-if)#mtu 1900
