Symptom: A mismatch between uptime shown byshow bgpcommands and the BGP state is reflected in the event log. Scenario: This issue occurs if no BGP show commands were run for 49 days Workaround: Run any BGP show command once every 48 days or fewer. |

Symptom: Traffic convergence takes approximately two minutes when VSF switchover is performed. Scenario: This issue occurs when traffic is flowing through the switch using the uplink on the commander. Performing a VSF switchover causes the standby to become the new commander, and it takes approximately 2 minutes for traffic to resume using the uplink of the new commander. Workaround: If the Uplink from the VSF is a LAG with members in Commander/Standby/Member, the convergence time would be lesser and around 70 seconds. |
